If your nervous system feels frayed, tired, or caught in patterns you can’t shift — even after all the inner work you’ve done — you’re not alone. These protective states are not flaws. They’re intelligent responses your system once needed to survive.

Chronic survival states are more common than you think…

In our modern world, chronic nervous system activation can show up in ways that don’t look like crisis — and may not even feel like stress. These states might express as over-productivity, perfectionism, emotional overwhelm, procrastination, brainfog or a constant inner pressure to perform.

They may quietly hold you back from feeling like your true authentic self — or from fully living a life shaped by your values, truth, and presence.

They’re not conscious choices…

They are rooted in your autonomic nervous system, and held below the level of rational control. The vagus nerve is part of your autonomic nervous system and plays a key role in this, affecting your wellbeing, emotions, how you feel about yourself, authentic connection with others and much more, so when it’s stuck in chronic dysregulation, this can quietly affect many areas of your life — often without you even knowing.
Here are some examples of chronic survival states:

When your system is stuck in ‘on’ mode (mobilised, hyper-alert):

⟡ Perfectionism, over-achieving, or feeling the need to stay in control
⟡ A loud inner critic, rumination, or looping thoughts
⟡ Chronic inner tension, anxiety, or difficulty fully relaxing — even in quiet moments
⟡ Overwhelm, racing thoughts, or task avoidance
⟡ Feeling hyper-vigilant in relationships, people pleasing or struggling to set clear boundaries
⟡ Difficulty connecting with yourself or others — even when you’re trying
⟡ Recurring waves of emotion or stress that feel hard to ‘explain’
⟡ Sitting down to create — and feeling blocked, foggy, or frozen

When your system leans toward shut down
(low energy, disconnected, flat):

⟡ Fatigue, emotional drain, or a quiet sense of hopelessness
⟡ Brain fog, sluggishness, or trouble concentrating
⟡ Feeling numb, lonely, or disconnected from desire and inner spark
⟡ Wanting to act — but feeling unable to move forward
⟡ Difficulty staying true to yourself or expressing what you need
⟡ Disrupted sleep, low appetite or digestion, or a general sense of disconnection
⟡ A vague stuckness or the sense that “I don’t feel like myself anymore”
⟡ Unexplained sadness or emotional flatness

These patterns are intelligent responses from your nervous system — tender, once-necessary adaptations that helped you through…

It’s important to acknowledge that they are deeply imprinted in your body: you can’t override them with willpower or push your way through, because they are wired-in protective adaptations that once helped you navigate stress, overwhelm, or environments that didn’t feel fully safe. These responses often come from old programming — shaped by past experiences, your environment, and even ancestral imprints.
So it’s time to give them some love and gently help them repattern.

Created by Dr. Stephen Porges, this approach supports your vagus nerve through carefully filtered sound that can help your body shift out of protective patterns and begin trusting life fully again.

While the SSP isn’t a quick fix or stand-alone solution, it can create powerful shifts when combined with embodiment, presence-based coaching, or therapy.

I’ve experienced this transformation myself — the SSP helped me shift long-held patterns I hadn’t even known were changeable. That’s why I now offer it as part of my work.

Who am I to be offering this?

I’m a mindfulness-based embodiment coach and transformational guide with an extensive background that is rooted in both science and deep intuitive practice: I’m a certified SSP Provider, with a background in medicine, mindfulness-based psychotherapy, somatic trauma therapy, sound healing, spiritual life coaching, family constellations, and more. This background gives me a unique understanding of the body, the nervous system, and the unseen layers that shape our experience.

The Safe and Sound Protocol also changed my life in ways I hadn’t even imagined were possible. It helped me shift patterns I’d carried for years — gently, quietly, and deeply.

I was so moved by this work that I became certified, even after years of training. That’s why I now offer this as a standalone pathway — or as a woven thread within my monthly 1:1 coaching journey.

All sessions take place via Zoom.

Nervous System Support with the SSP can be booked within my usual subscription-based monthly 1:1 coaching pathway.

We’ll move through four natural phases of the journey — which I’ll introduce during our initial Connection Call. After the call, you’ll receive access to a private SSP Information Portal, with videos and written information, where you can explore the full structure, phases, and resources in your own rhythm.

Two 60-minute 1:1 coaching sessions via Zoom
Tailored SSP listening plan — constantly adapted to your system’s needs
Co-listening in the sessions — paced to your system’s needs
A library of resources — a wealth of supporting videos, meditations,
mini-teachings, and guided practices to keep
Ongoing email support — if needed between sessions

Investment: 400 EUR / month

There is a minimum six-month commitment, to ensure you receive the preparation and support needed for the full core listening process. Every nervous system moves at its own pace — after the initial six months, you’re welcome to continue month-by-month, book individual sessions or pause as needed.
