Hi, I’m Julia

I’m not a business coach, I’m a heart-led Soulpreneur. I help people who are navigating inner transitions and inner stuckness reconnect with their inner wisdom, release old burdens and limitations, change emotional patterns, and come home to themselves through a blend of sacred soul work, soulful embodiment, nervous system regulation, and intuitive guidance.

I love my work — it is truly my life’s work — but the journey to finding my voice and creating a business that follows my soul’s calling has been anything but straightforward.
My struggles ran far deeper than anything business advice, strategies, or formulas could touch.

Bringing out your own soulful work can feel like a birth and an awakening.

Whether you’re building a business or simply bringing your heart-led work into form, taking these steps into the world can awaken powerful inner themes.

At times it may feel light, alive, and guided — and at other times deeply confusing, with inner turbulence surfacing just when you thought you’d found your footing. Not because something is wrong, but because something true is unfolding — and the path often emerges not as a plan, but one step at a time.

Following your soul’s path can stir subconscious patterns, beliefs, and old inner burdens, as well as emotional and energetic entanglements — especially as you step away from familiar systems and ways of being.

I’ve lived this as tender, exhilarating, deeply satisfying, and beautiful — and also as moments of wanting to run away and hide, with unexpected fear, overwhelm, inner turmoil and blocks arising as I tried to find my voice, my way of working, and the courage to bring my true gifts into the world.

Often, this becomes the beginning of an inner journey we never expected to be on

Because we were focused on the outer “business” side of things, and not yet meeting what was moving inside. That was certainly true for me — and it continues to shape my unfolding.

The deeper inner layers are so often invisible and difficult to name

Yet they shape so much…

For many of us, stepping onto our own soul-guided business path means being confronted with so many new things to learn and put in place, which can activate old coping patterns or simply leave us feeling overwhelmed in ways we did not expect. For some of us, starting a new soul-led venture can mean stepping away from systems that conditioned us to be in certain ways, stay small, quiet, perfectionistic, productive, compliant, which can make showing up simply being yourself truly challenging.

And as soon as we begin listening deeply and creating something that is truly ours — our way, our rhythm, our voice — these old layers can activate. Not because we are doing something wrong, but because we are doing something profoundly true. We're often stepping away from conditioned patterns of thinking, processing, relating, creating, learning, deciding and being that once kept us safe, or that we were forced to adopt and subsequently internalised to make them ‘our own’.

Alongside this, we are also learning — often for the very first time — about our needs: what truly nourishes us, what kind of rhythm supports us, what kind of community we actually feel safe in, and what both our soul and our work genuinely require in order to stay alive and sustainable. Even learning to sense and name these needs can feel surprisingly empowering, but also tender and challenging at times as we let go of old inner stories and versions of ourselves.

Much of this is rooted in the subconscious, quietly weaving the past into present-day situations, which sometimes makes the Soulpreneur journey so deep — and the real underlying issues in times of challenge so difficult to grasp at the root.

You are not alone

Growing your business — and your life — on your own inner terms can stir places inside you that strategy alone cannot touch. It’s rarely just about the business - it’s the old imprinting, the nervous system patterns, attachment, the moments in your history where your creativity was not met or where your voice learned to quiet itself and you learned to step into hiding, as well as ancestral echoes and energetic entanglements that start to show up.

Soulpreneur Corner exists to name these inner landscapes — and offer inspiration & support for your inner worlds

It exists to bring light to the emotional, somatic, energetic, and subconscious terrain that can awaken when you choose a soul-led path and live life on your own inner terms.
And to help you understand what’s unfolding inside, in a felt sense, as you create a business or soul-led life and speak your voice in ways that honour who you truly are.

Just as you are unique, your business — and the challenges you meet along the way — will be unique too.

My hope is that this corner offers companionship, resonance, and gentle support as you move through your own inner journey.

This is not business guidance. It’s a space for the inner life that unfolds as you follow your soul’s work.

Who This Space Is For

This corner is for Soulpreneurs — healers, coaches, therapists, creatives, and heart-led small business ownersand for those who feel the call to bring a heart- or soul-led project into form, even if it doesn’t yet feel like “a business.”

It’s for those who feel the quiet but unmistakable pull to bring their true work and presence into the world and follow the call of their heart — even if the path feels challenging, confusing, emotional, overwhelming, or unlike anything they’ve walked before.

Perhaps you are beginning to sense that you need to follow your own rhythm rather than go with systems that never truly fit you. Or you notice that business advice alone isn’t touching what’s actually happening inside. Maybe you just want to show up with your voice, grounded in your deeper truth and it’s feeling challenging. Perhaps you want to honour your values of reciprocity, integrity, and inner alignment — and feel how old patterns, conditioning, inner blocks, or inherited expectations are still at work. Maybe it’s the tension or freeze that arises as you leave old systems that once trained or shaped you, and step more fully into who you are becoming.

Whatever brings you to this little corner of the internet — thank you for being here. You are so welcome here. I hope you will find the resources nourishing and supportive on your path.

Writing to the “Void”

When I started sending newsletters, I didn’t expect how challenging the journey would be — not just practically, but emotionally. I had so many thoughts I wanted to share, and I was really ready to learn and do this well. But what threw me into complete inner turmoil was getting no responses or replies — and how drastic the silence would feel.

In Writing to the “Void”, I share what I’ve learned about showing up, being visible, and staying kind to myself when email marketing feels like sending words into what I like to call the “void”. If you’re a soulpreneur who shares from the heart, this one is for you.

When Overwhelm Isn’t Only About Your Business

Running a soul-led business asks a lot of your nervous system.

What we often overlook is that the way we meet those demands isn’t shaped only by what’s happening now, but also by experiences from much earlier in life — especially times where we were learning, trying to keep up, navigating unfamiliar systems, or being taught how to think, perform, and adapt. For many of us, those early experiences created layers of overwhelm that didn’t simply disappear; they live on as feeling memory in the body.

  • When our business asks us to be visible, responsive, confident, or adaptable, those old imprints can quietly come back online — not as memories, but as stress, self-doubt, or reactions that feel bigger than the moment. This was very much my own experience in the early days of both my first and second business.

In my first business, I freelanced as a translator and teacher after I left my job in medicine. Finally, and courageously, I had stepped onto a completely new professional path, and on leaving such a huge established professional field that I had felt imprisoned in, I thought I had mastered the worst part of my fear. I believed I would now easily be able to set up a business and figure out what my soul really wanted. I was ready.

But instead, I felt more and more overwhelmed — far more than the situation called for.
I couldn't relax. I got stressed with every new contract I had landed instead of celebrating. I started hiding away from interested clients because I feared I could not meet what they were asking of me (even though on a rational level I knew this not to be true, but the feeling just took over). I had tension and fear around doing things wrong constantly running below the surface, even though my customers highly valued and praised my work. I felt like a complete failure and even started to feel like I couldn't speak English at all — what on earth was I doing teaching English, writing in English, and translating complex medical literature into English? Who did I think I was? It was rampant imposter syndrome and trauma that was still alive from my school days.

Until I discovered that the feelings were coming from a time in my life where I had lived through a lot of stress around language, switching countries and school systems, trying to keep up with the demands of a school life in a new country that I didn’t yet grasp — and I was not managing. There was so much overwhelm in my system back then. So what I was reliving was coming from had a younger inner part of me, an inner child, trying to run my business.

It took me a few years to make that connection, because at the time I didn’t yet know what I’m sharing with you now. But once I could see that the intensity I was feeling came from real situations I had lived as a child, I could begin to respond differently. With support, I started to care for that younger part and help it understand that those days were very much over — after which I could navigate the demands of my business from a much more resourced, adult place.

I’m sharing this with you to show that sometimes feelings of overwhelm, not managing, fear (and the list goes on) aren’t so much about now — they’re echoes from earlier chapters of your life — calling for healing and transformation.

My blog article ‘Not everything you're feeling has to do with now’ explores feeling memory and why certain moments of overwhelm or self-doubt may actually be your body remembering, not evidence that you’re on the wrong path. And what you can do about it.

It includes a story from my childhood, a simple practice you can try, and a video I recorded a few years ago that explores feeling memory and patterns more deeply and what you can do about them. The video is imperfect in form (I’ve been planning a more polished version for a long time — arghh, here’s me practising letting go of perfectionism and reducing my to-do lists), but still rich in insight and very alive in its essence.
