What is the SSP?

The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is a science‑based music programme that helps your nervous system return to inner safety and restore balance. This helps you to shift out of chronic inner stress and old coping patterns.

Within my coaching, SSP becomes more than listening: it becomes a highly tailored guided journey of nervous-system recalibration with soulful embodiment and intuitive soul work.

Why work with the nervous system?

Inner safety is a doorway home.

Your nervous system holds the roots of your aliveness — and shapes your capacity for inner calm, presence, and soul-connection.

Many deep-feeling, driven people live with subtle patterns of tension or chronic survival without realising, like I did too.

When the nervous system is chronically dysregulated, it doesn’t always look like crisis — and it may not even feel like stress — yet it can quietly affect wellbeing, emotions, and behaviour in almost every area of life.

These states can hold you back from feeling fully alive, grounded, and soul-connected — and keep you feeling stuck in patterns of perfectionism, over-functioning or procrastination.

Chronic survival can disconnect you from your creativity and curiosity, from your dreams and desires, and even affect how you connect with others from the heart.

These patterns are not conscious choices… If some of these chronic survival patterns sound familiar, it’s not because you’re doing something wrong — it’s your body protecting you.

When your nervous system can start to move back into safety, you can naturally start feel more present, alive, and guided from within — instead of stuck in old patterns

When your system easily gets stuck in ‘ON’ mode (mobilised, hyper-alert):

⟡ Perfectionism, over-achieving, or feeling the need to stay in control
⟡ Constant busyness, even though you know you would like to rest more, it’s almost as if on autopilot
⟡ A loud inner critic, rumination, or looping thoughts
⟡ Chronic inner tension, anxiety, or difficulty fully relaxing — even in quiet moments
⟡ Overwhelm and/or task procrastination, even though you know you’d like to move forward and find clarity
⟡ Feeling hyper-vigilant in relationships, people pleasing or struggling to set clear boundaries

⟡ Recurring patterns or outbursts of emotions or stress that feel hard to ‘explain’

When your system leans toward chronic ‘SHUT DOWN’ (low energy, disconnected, flat):

⟡ Fatigue, emotional drain, or a quiet sense of hopelessness
⟡ Brain fog, sluggishness, or trouble concentrating
⟡ Feeling numb, lonely, or disconnected from desire and inner spark
⟡ Wanting to act — but feeling unable to move forward

What’s included in your SSP journey

This is not a quick intervention. Every SSP journey unfolds at its own pace.
Some people move through listening more quickly; others take longer. Your listening journey will take several months to complete and we will adapt it according to your nervous system needs. I usually recommend taking six months as this allows for preparation, fine-attunement and deep integration.
You may need more sessions than you originally book, we can only tell as we go along.

All listening takes place via an app installed on your mobile phone.

2. Safe and Sound Protocol Access & Support Package
– One full round of SSP Core listening (with your own dashboard + app access)
– Initial assessments to prepare for and track your listening journey

– A tailored listening plan that we tweak and adapt as you go along
- Two 90-minute nervous system mapping & exploration sessions
- One 90-minute SSP onboarding & co-listening familiarisation session

– Six 30-minute check in calls to book as needed
– SSP-specific light email support for check-ins and light tweaks to your listening plan. (if you need more support, you’ll need to book a session)

Your one-time listening licence is valid for one year. After six months, you have options:
