We all know Push, when it’s in the driver’s seat:
It’s that humming, focused energy where the checklists are getting ticked, the soul-project is moving, and you finally feel capable. and you’re moving forward.
We crave that version of ourselves—the one working relentlessly towards the business, the healing, the diet, the "shoulds" of self-care, or getting that dream project perfectly running.
We all also know Pull, when it’s doing the driving:
The fog, inexplicable blocks and exhaustion take over.
Or you’re staring at the wall, numb-scrolling, comfort eating, or absorbed in busyness with other things
You might call it a "procrastination problem" that you have to “beat” or “fight”, even with the little capacity you have.
To make things worse your inner critic shames you as "plain lazy" or other things that are neither kind nor helpful.
You work hard to fight against it
But essentially it feels like you’re driving with the handbrake on.
The exhaustion builds, the mood drops.
But you keep on keeping on to get to that Push-Thing you want.
You might even get a little angry at yourself.
Why you can't just do, no BE, the “Push-Thing" and finally get stuff done, the thing in order.
Is it really that hard…?
Sometimes a break will help for while…
So you can hop back into Push feeling refreshed
But there’s also the dreaded inner-tug-of-war Deadlock…
That’s the moment the soulful human hits the wall.
No amount of effort will help this get “fixed”.
It feels like a breakdown with overwhelm, weepiness, emotional exhaustion, fogginess and feeling burned out — all laced with a growing sense of doom.
You’re wondering how you ended up in this tangled mess when all you’re doing is trying your best to get your life, your business or things 'in order.'
This is the moment we realise something must change.
It’s when we finally stop and ask ourselves: What is our life actually about?
What do we really want?
