1. Creating your Unyte Account & doing the Assessments

You're now gently heading towards Phase 2, the start of SSP listening. So it’s time to get settled in with your Unyte Account. Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to help you do this. Don’t worry – I’ll be with you along the way.

  1. I’ll send you an email invitation from Unyte to create your account.

  2. Once you’ve created it, simply email me to let me know.

  3. I will then send you online assessment forms (via Unyte)

  4. When you’ve filled them out, please send me a quick email.

  5. After that, I’ll activate your listening license — and you’ll be able to access your full MyUnyte dashboard.

  6. In your dashboard, you’ll find a lot of resources and information. Don’t worry — I’ll guide you step by step through what’s actually relevant. You’ll see: we’ve already begun gently working with some of it together.

2. Accessing the SSP Playlist & Choosing your Music

The SSP includes several playlist options to support your listening journey.

Since there are many options, it’s a good idea to explore what kind of music feels most supportive to you before downloading. You can browse the playlists in the Resources section of your MyUnyte dashboard. (The video above gives you a glimpse of where to find this.)

Once you’ve chosen one (or more) playlists that feel good to you, just let me know — I’ll unlock access so you can download them to your phone (see below for how to install the app).

You can also download a document with all the SSP playlists below.

3. Install the Unyte App on your mobile phone

The Unyte app can be easily installed on both Android and Apple phones. You’ll need this app to listen to SSP Core on your listening journey— None of the ‘real’ playlists are accessible through the web dashboard.

Once the app is installed, simply log in using the same name and email address you used to create your Unyte account.
